How do you do it?

I don’t want to write another love song
About you so far away
I don’t want to put my life in these lines
And my broken heart on display
Because I don’t have your eyes to look at me
I don’t have your smile to keep me strong
I don’t have the courage and the strength I need
For me to carry on

I wish I could jump on that train
Passing through the night
Tomorrow I’d be in another place
With another life
Because I don’t have your arms to hold me
When my world is upside down
And I don’t have your light to guide me
When an angel can’t be found

Keep making *my* week by posting your poetry. You need a publisher. And I'm not talking about Blogspot.

No quieres escribir otra canción de amor...y lo haces, la escribes. Quizás no sabemos vivir sin amar, no somos capaces de prescindir del amor, aunque duela...¿no será una forma de masoquismo?
