It makes me think of the Native Indians in North America. The Choctaws, the Chickasaws, the Seminoles, and on and on. Our white ancestors just couldn't find a way to coexist with them. Multiculturalism seen in a different light. White Americans were convinced that their way of civilization was better. They viewed Indians as stupid and unknowing since they lived in tepees and communed with nature. White America was determined to take over almost ever piece of land and wipe Indian culture off the map and they almost succeeded---all Indians have left now are some reservations scattered about. I'm always to glad to hear when tribes are finding ways to preserve their culture.

I'm sure my DNA consist of everything. I've always been a little envious of pure blood cultures---100% Japanese, 100% Chinese, 100% Jewish---they have a direct link to a particular heritage.
